Group 3 Fast Facts

Our area of operations covers two counties: San Bernardino and Riverside which total 27,269 square miles, larger than the State of West Virginia.
There are 323 Senior (adult members) and 250 Cadet (teenage) members in the Squadrons in Group 3.
Group 3 Squadrons have 4 Civil Air Patrol aircraft and numerous member aircraft that can be used for aerial missions.
Our members are trained in air and ground search and rescue, radio communications, and mission base operations.

Welcome to the home of the Inland Empire Group 3 of the California Wing, Civil Air Patrol.

For over 65 years, the volunteers of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) have served the country and their local communities through CAP's Congressionally chartered missions of emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs.
